Social Media Manager
Location: Burleigh Heads, QLD
The Role
We are searching for a Social Media & Team Manager to be the voice of our brand across all digital platforms. You will manage our social media presence and build strong relationships with our collaborators to ensure these relationships drive brand awareness, product visibility and engagement. As part of our creative team, you’ll work directly with the founders and content creators to deliver compelling and engaging content, execute marketing campaigns, and drive global brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Strategy: Work with the founders to develop and execute a social media strategy that reflects our brand’s vision and values.
- Content Creation: Create, curate and manage published content across social platforms; Meta, Tiktok, YouTube, LinkedIn.
- Scheduling: Plan and schedule posts using the latest social media management tools.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Analyse social media performance and adjust strategies based on insights. This includes tracking likes, shares, follows, engagement rates, ROI etc.
- Community: Engage with our vibrant online community by monitoring and responding to comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags on social media platforms to foster community interaction and algorithmic growth.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that the brands strategies are current and effective.
Outreach/Team Manager
- Partnership Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external collaborators to ensure ongoing relationships drive brand awareness, product visibility and engagement. Identify and connect with new potential ambassadors, anglers, influencers, or collaborators for product seeding and promotional campaigns.
- Community: Coordinate attendance at community events to promote brands and forge new connections.
- Feedback Collection: Use outreach methods to gather feedback from customers, partners, or the public, and relay this feedback to relevant departments.
About You
- Creative, with a passion for storytelling and elevating brand identity.
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, influencer marketing.
- Proficient in the use of Adobe products, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator and mobile based creative apps such as Capcut.
- Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences.
- Familiar with all popular social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for building meaningful relationships.
- Knowledge of retail trends, influencer culture, and strategies.
