Raised between New Zealand and Samoa, Jon learned to fish at a young age, introduced to the sport by their father. Later in life, this became the way he spent time together with his brother Niko, driven by adventure and honing their skills. Long before Malosi, the brothers began to build handmade lures, obsessed with, quality, craftsmanship and the pursuit of big fish with something made by their own hands.
